Pretend Masks is a group inspired by traditional African music from Kenya.
Each song has a traditional tribal sound to it, very relaxing and inspiring, using the instruments popular in the culture. This music brings beautiful visuals of the safari and it's animals to the mind, almost feels as if you're right there. The concert was a great success, people up in their seats dancing and really feeling the music within the soul. The music is so peaceful and uplifting, even though the place was packed the group still gives off a feel of closeness like it's just you and the music. The band had a great performance loving the fact that the crowd was really getting into it. Always brings a smile to my face when young children are up in that front row dancing joyfully.

Public Intervention Art

Finger Printing Portland.
Inspired by Lilly McElroy
Relating to her idea of being personal with a stranger.
I asked people on the street for their finger prints.

Strike a pose
Inspired by: Change
I walked around the Portland area asking people to strike a pose for the camera, some people ran away and looked at me weird and and some went as far as to rap for me or jump off a bridge!
